 Staffordshire's Balaam & The Angel were at the forefront of the 80s Goth movement, playing alongside some of the biggest bands of the day, and releasing a succession of acclaimed records through both their own Chapter 22 independent label and later, the major, Virgin Records. This, their second album released in the summer of 1988, has been beautifully remastered and repackaged with the direct assistance of the band. Includes the singles 'I Love The Things You Do To Me", 'I'll Show You Something Special', and bonus tracks especially selected by the band. In addition to the Goth movement, Balaam & The Angel were also hugely popular with rock critics. Sleeve-notes have been written in collaboration with Des Morris of the band, who provides insights on the album and the times. Balaam & The Angel are now reforming and expecting to play a series of high-profile gigs at the turn of 2008.

 + Bonus TracksThis 19 track collection features Balaam & The Angels' complete catalogue of songs on their own Chapter 22 label. Their unique brand of post-punk goth and 60's influenced material made them a leading light of the indie scene in the mid to late 80's. The band went on to enjoy sucess on both sides of the Atlantic. This CD features all the original tracks from their period on their own Chapter 22 label including the singles "Day & Night", "Love Me" and "World Of Light" plus 9 bonus tracks selected by the band from their archives of rarer recordings or lesser known b-sides etc.. The CD booklet includes all the original artwork and a complete discography of the band incoporating all of the band's original sleeves. Sleeve notes are supplied by Mark Morris, lead vocalist and bassist of the band. The band toured extensively with The Cult, Kiss and Iggy Pop amongst others and created a reputation for being a great live act.
