"Waiters on the Dance" is a lost classic of the Progressive era. Released on the short lived Youngblood label imprint Birth in 1973, the album was the second by Science Fiction author Julian Jay Savarin and was the follow up to the double album "A Time Before This", released by Savarin's group Julian's Treatment (also released by Esoteric Recordings this month). Based on the first book of his "Lemmus" trilogy, the album was conceived as the first of three telling the musical story of his literary creation.
