The favourite singer of Antonio Carlos Jobim. Sylvia Telles dedicated her short career to recording the songs of Brazil's great modern songwriter. She was a sensitive, technically gifted performer who with full command of the language, sang very effectively in English. She was in the ascendancy until tragically killed in a car accident in 1966. One of THE most important figures of the original Bossa Nova movement.
