Alongside Scott Walker and Dusty Springfield, Jackie Trent was one of the most distinctive pop voices of the sixties. With Tony Hatch, she co-wrote hits for Walker and Petula Clark and enjoyed major success of her own when ‘Where Are You Now?’ ousted the Beatles’ ‘Ticket To Ride’ from the number one spot in the spring of 1965.
