Football
As the UK's leading football music specialists, Cherry Red are now starting the process of researching new collections featuring the following teams, Liverpool, Manchester United, and the England and Scotland National Football Teams.

The key to all of the Cherry Red football releases is the extensive research that's undertaken to ensure that all the key tracks relating to the featured club side or national team are included. We have an indepth knowledge of the genre but we're always keen to learn of recordings, songs etc that we were previously unaware of.

Bridget St John / Mike Hart - Lost Peel Sessions
We are desperately trying to track down copies of any of Bridget St John's Peel Sessions recorded in the late 60's/early 70's. Mike Hart also recorded one in 1973. Unfortunately the BBC were not very good at archiving the shows in those days and so much fantastic material has been lost. Hopefully there is someone out there who can help us, did you record any of these shows or no someone that did? If so please contact Richard Martin via the contact form.

Indie labels?
Author Alex Ogg is starting work on a new book for Cherry Red, focusing on the history of UK independent labels. If anyone was involved with an independent label - especially behind the scenes - and they would like to talk about their experiences, please email Alex via Ian McNay

Project People Needed
Cherry Red are looking for people that can help put projects together for us on a freelance basis. It involves the following: a. coming up with ideas for catalogue releases. b. if we think your ideas could work and we are able to obtain the rights, then following through the project which would involved helping obtain contributions for the artwork and sleeve notes, liasing re the mastering, and any other details that need to be taken care of. Cherry Red Films is always looking to expand our range of interesting music and related documentary films (previous releases include "Billy Childish Is Dead" (nominated for a British Independent Film award)). We are interested in hearing from independent documentary filmmakers who have begun work on a music or related project and are seeking a partner to bring the film to fruition.
