Dead Kennedys are a huge cult punk band. Their Cherry Red album "Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables" has sold over 150,000 copies in the UK alone. This is one of the bands last ever live concerts before their break-up in 1984. There were only 2 concerts in the bands history that were captured on film, so footage of them is very rare. The DVD contains extra features including the complete discography of the band, a complete list of all Kennedys releases available on Cherry Red, a complete list of videos available in the Visionary video catalogue and the facility to play individual tracks. This release is in O format and will play anywhere in the world. This June 1994 performance marked the closing of San Francisco's DMPO's on Broadway Avante Garde Theatre and nightclub. Director Dirk Dirksen documents the performance of Klaus Flouride, D.H. Peligro, East Bay Ray and Jello Biafra. The 58 minute concert was captured in real time using 4 cameras.

When Cherry Red first released Dead Kennedys 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables' album it dramatically changed the fortunes of the label. The album charted in the National Top 40, went to No 2 in the Independent chart, and has over the last 25 years sold over 1 million copies worldwide. It contains the band's first three singles, 'California Uber Alles', 'Holiday In Cambodia', and 'Kill The Poor'. The album had become one of THE punk albums that continually comes up in lists and polls as having seminal influence over the years.
