Creation Rebel were the original On-U Sound collective. "Threat To Creation" is the first of Cherry Red's collaborations with Adrian Sherwood and On-U Sound.Creation Rebel and The New Age Steppers were made up of a loose collective of various members of The Slits, The Pop Group & Aswad. Formed in 1978 they acted as the rhythm section for Price Farl's European tour, but were always primarily a studio outfit experimenting with "the unique possibilities of space and sound within the disciplined structures of the rhythms".
