Cleaners From Venus

Very Best Of
cdmred248

Founded by Wivenhoe's Renaissance man, Martin Newell, the Cleaners were initially Martin and one Lol Elliot on drums. Later, after Lol left to live on Venus permanently, a young local chap approached Martin with a song he'd written and soon found himself one half of the new line up. This man was Giles Smith who is now a much-respected author and has written the best-selling book "Lost In Music" which focuses on this period in his life, from which an extract is included as a bonus on this brand new best of album! Compiled by the man himself, this fantastic best of album features 22 tracks, including the fabulous "Julie Profomo" and "Summer In A Small Town".
