 Anagram Records are proud to present the latest edition to their world famous Psychobilly Collectors Series, the furious, frantic Psychobilly 4-piece from Scotland, The Termites. Comprising of Kenny Mitchell (vocals), Scott Ballantine (guitar), Ewin Murray (drums) and Gerry Doyle (bass), the group started out as four school friends from Kilmarnock. Relocating to Glasgow and quickly establishing themselves in its burgeoning psychobilly scene, the band cut a three track demo in 1987 - 'Devil Call', 'Let Me In', and 'I Can't Wait.' Almost immediately, 'Devil Call' was used on the Fury compilation "Gypsy Girl" - the other two songs would later end up on "Psych Tendencies." The groups second demo, recorded in 1988, was released on Raucous Records as an EP. Hitting the road, they quickly built up a huge fanbase and were offered an album deal with Link Records. Recorded in Bracknell with Chuck Flintstone behind the mixing desk, the album sessions were frought with arguments and fist fights, but the limited edition 'Overload' (1000 copies) did see the light of day, released on the 'Chuck Flintstone Presents' series on Link and became an instant classic! Available for the first time ever on CD, this version has 6 bonus tracks in addition to the original 14 - featuring the entire and highly sought after Raucous EP as well as two very early tracks from their second ever session.
